Today`s suggestion:



I'm quite happy that is short as this means I haven't had any big problem during
these months. Just 2 things to add to what I wrote in the past:



I've had seldom connectivity problems to our websites, I couldn't always check
if it was hostgator problem or other problem related to my connectivity but
sometimes it really looked like it was hostgator problem.

I'm just talking about few times for some minutes. Not really a problem for us.



The only really annoying thing it happened is that once one of our website
(vagabondo.net) has been discontinued because it loaded too much the server.
Generally speaking suspending a site because is loading too much the server
could even be a positive thing (you prevent the whole server sites to slow down
too much, you can have time to see if someone is "attacking" the server or the
site ecc.). What I'm complaining about is:



1) We received no warning about it, not before, not after the site was
suspended!!! We just realized it, wrote to support and got an answer after few
hours.



2) We received no details about the excessive load the server was experiencing
becasue of our site, no detail about where the problem could lie (too many sql
queries? too many hits? heavy php proccesses? ecc. ecc.) so as to understand
better if this could happen again and possibly how to solve the the problem.



All in all this leaves you with a scary impression: it just happened one time
but it could happen anytime not knowing why it happened (and why it stop
happening!).



Having said that I still think hostgator provide a good service (that needs
improving though) and can confirm what I wrote in previous review.

size of the large and high quality picture is 228 KB (kilobyte). With 1,500 GB
of disk space, you can store more than 6.5 million copies of this picture! And
with 15,000 GB/month bandwidth, this picture can be viewed more than 65,700,000
times a month (That's 65.7 million)! The most suitable words to describe 1,500
GB of disk space and 15,000 GB of bandwidth are "More Than Enough!". :-)



There are many web hosts that offer large disk space and bandwidth, but keep in
mind that these web hosts might have funny restrictions such as file size limit,
daily bandwidth limit, or even binary files bandwidth limit (pictures, MP3s,
Flash ...). LunarPages does not have such restrictions with your disk space and

outside of these countries, you cannot dial the toll free number. They provide

called them several times and they have no problem talking to me with my slang.



4. Lunar Forums (LunarForums.com)- LunarPages provides forums to let their
customers communicate and help each other. You can find many answers for your
questions. You will also meet many happy customers there. Remember only hosts
that are confident with their services and have many customers dare to set up an
open forum. Currently, the forum has around 35,670 registered users. And
LunarForums is also one of the oldest webmaster forums out there.



I will surely rate their customer support as 10 over 10, or 11 over 10 if I can
:-) Their customer satisfaction speaks for itself. I always stress to my
visitors who write to me that if they are web hosting newbie who need a lot of

San Francisco, CA - Digital Realty Trust acquired two European data centers; Cressex 1 in London, England 51,000 sq/ft and Naritaweg 52 in Amsterdam, Netherlands - 63,000 sq/ft.

San Mateo, CA - Garnett & Helfrich Capital purchased MTI Europe in a court-supervised auction. MTI offers the managed services, data storage, protection and collocation services.

Montreal, Canada - HostingDiscussion.com acquired and merged with HostingRefuge.com and TalkWebHosts.com

Macomb, IL - McDonough Telephone Cooperative (MDTC) acquiring Infobahn Outfitters a web hosting and web design company.

Suwanee, GA — Quality Technology Services, a provider of data center and managed services, acquired the customer base of First National Technology Solutions in Kansas City. QualityTech will boost its annual revenues over $100 million with the deal.

Lancashire UK - Red Fox Hosting acquired AGUK Hosting, managed and exchange hosting services

Herndon, VA - SWsoft acquired WebHost Automation Ltd. (Bristol, U.K.) maker of the Helm control panel and billing software for Windows - 1.5 million worldwide end users.

London, UK - UK-2 Group, Ltd acquired Dan Ushman’s Chicago based midPhase Services Inc.’s shared and VPS businesses. Dan keeps his fingers in the pie as he works his way up the food chain - why? UK-2 will collocate the acquired assets at SingleHop, Inc, a company owned and operated by Zak Boca and Dan Ushman. (High 5 on that one!)

My favorite acquisition of the month:
Chatswood NSW Australia - Broadcast Australia entered into an agreement to acquire Hostworks Group Limited a full service dedicated/managed colo company in a $68.9 million transaction. Each firm’s competencies complement each other – actually/really – synergistic - Check out the links to see what I mean. This is a great marriage – also the deal is a 37% premium to the latest closing price of Hostworks shares.

The UK and its past and related domains were busy in December.

Both HostIcan and Lunarpages have a lot in common in terms of hosting plans and features they offer. However, there are a few differences if you look beneath the surface.

After contacting them we were told to buy ourselves a reseller hosting
